Montagne Jeunesse Face Masks

AAAahHHHHhhh!!! Scared you, didn't I??? Who would post a pic of themselves in the tub with a face mask on, honestly?? This chick!!! I wanted to tell you all how great Montagne Jeunesse products are and I thought there was no better way than to show you how relaxed and luxurious a great face mask can make you feel! Coincidentally, my face mask arrived in my Influenster Holiday 2012 Vox Box (check out www.influenster.com and my previous posts) on the same day that my shipment from the Bath and Body Works Yellow Ducky Semi-Annual Sale arrived, and on an evening where my hubby brought home some yummy champagne to soothe my frazzled soul. It was like the stars aligned!!

Put the kids to bed, grab a glass of wine, apply your Montagne Jeunesse face mask, and draw a turn-your-butt-bright-red-bubble bath with Bath and Body Works Aromotherapy Sleep Bath ...HEAVEN!!! Actually, it was Heaven times infinity because I also got to read a chapter in my book in the bath on my kindle and no one knocked, yelled, or cried while sticking their little hands under the door!

I love applying face masks. Montagne Jeunesse face masks make me feel like I'm giving myself a spa day without the expense or hassle of leaving home. They have a mask for just about every possible skin type and condition. Dry skin. Check! Acne. Check! Large Pores. Double Check in my case! I received the Raspberry Mango smoothie. It deeply cleaned my pores and left my skin feeling incredibly clean and smooth, but without that overly tight feeling that some masks will leave you feeling.

Montagne Jeunesse masks have been a favorite of mine for a while. At under two bucks per sachet they make an inexpensive treat. I've even bought them as part of fun party favors for girls nights. Get one or two of the masks, a bottle of nail polish, one of those frozen margarita packs with the alcohol already in them, and a trial size bubble bath for an adorable and memorable hostess gift. THey look so cute sitting on the table in pretty gift bags with ribbon and a personalized note for each guest, take next to no time to put together, and NOBODY is forgetting you, the hostess with the mostess!

You can find Montagne Jeunesse masks at grocery stores, specialized beauty stores like Ulta, Walmart, Online, and at your local pharmacy. Some of my favorite products in their line of face masks are the Hot Chocolate Self-Heating Masks. They feel amazing on and they lift a ton of gunk out of your pores. Maybe I'm just gross but there is also something super satisfying about peeling off the Green Tea Peel Off Mask. Another thing to keep in mind is that these masks are gluten free, natural and do not contain added parabens. I'm looking forward to getting my man to try the guy's line too. Don't be afraid of a little grooming boys...Can you just picture my hubby and I hanging out on a Friday night on the couch together wearing our masks? lol. And on that visual note, I'm going to sign off. I hope you'll give Montagne Jeunesse a try if you haven't yet. Come back and leave me some comments about how you liked it if you end up buying a mask in the near future! TTFN :o)

Kiss Nail Dress

I don't know how many of you have meddlesome kids who won't refrain from touching your wet nail polish before it is completely set, but I have two of them. I have practically sworn off nail polish becase if I paint my nails during the day my girlies will almost certainly ruin my manicure and if I wait until they go to bed it won't be dry enough for me to go to sleep without getting that gorgeous pillow mark effect in my nails. I'm all for nail art, but, really??

There is a much BETTER way!! I recently received a box of Kiss Nail Dress in my Influenster 2012 Vox Box. (www.influenster.com - check them out! NOW!) It was a dream come true. Seriously! They are basically nail stickers that give you an instant manicure but last up to 10 days. I certainly put them to the test too. After applying mine I gave the kids baths, did laundry, washed dishes, typed documents, put together some furniture for the kids, opened boxes of kids Christmas toys, cleaned the floors on my hands and knees (No, really, I did...Cinderella much? and where the hell is my hubby, right?). I still managed to get a full 8 days out of my nails!!! Take a look at the picture below that I took via Instagram.

How cute am I??? Go ahead and tell me...I can always use an ego boost! ;o)

To say I was impressed is a total understatement. The nails are super easy to apply. Simply select the correct size for each nail. Getting the width right was important. The nails were a bit difficult to trim on the side of the nail bed without filing your cuticles raw. But, trimming the decals before applying made the process much faster and simpler. Do not try to get cheap (like I did, doh!) and cut the decals in half to use on your toes. They completely lose their stickiness when you do that. Use one decal per finger or toe, smooth the sticker down and apply some gentle pressure to make sure it adheres and then file away the excess. It takes about 10 minutes, if that, to complete. Obviously, it is a fraction of the cost of a salon manicure and I thought that their was no difference between the Kiss Nail Dress and salon nail art.

You can get Kiss Nail Dress at the pharmacy, at Amazon, Walmart, or the grocery store.
